The Ice-cream Parlour



Contemplate the hot day seaside town
all these people squashed together
pigeons crowded on the beach
seagulls screech

Contemplate the urbanity
urbananity
of the concrete's cold embrace
on the tar pebble shore
there are more tins of Coke back at the store
that's twenty 'p'

'scuse me
I was lost for a moment
