Tony: a poem
Oct 26th, 2009 by Norman
Tony
Tony Gouch the good hearted
it’s thirty years or more
since I saw or thought of Tony Gouch
and here’s his ghost
walking in the door
”You remind me of a friend,” I say
”Ah. People find I look like my father,
John Brown, the poet.”
no, it’s Tony, I think,
the good hearted
gone
and this
this is just an incompleted thought
youth
I miss your hope
hope
I miss your youth
Tong Gouch was a good young man
that’s the loving truth
