such a short time
and I’ve been so impatient
see the sun set the sun set
and my good friends and my true love
dissolved
and here’s this dog that’s been a dozen years with me
struggling for breath
and leaving me tomorrow (we’ve set the clock)
and yes I have a tear
and that too will dissolve
an so much and so much is frittered away
time time is frittered away
where’s the peaks and the epiphanies
and I’m debating deliberating
how water don’t dissolve
it evaporates
sp the petty eats up the better part of life
and a sigh is just a sigh
and I wish my friend God’s speed and Grace
and I bid my friend goodbye
