there is a wonderful prismatic effect of sunlight on snow that i call the “snowbow”.
If you look at snow in sunshine, at a particular angle (which i have trouble calculating) the sparkling flashes of light reflect prismatic colours! Perhaps because it is sunward, it is hard to photograph. I’ve only just, after many tries, caught [...]
